Beach Hotel with amenities
Hotel was perfect for stroll on beach or to the nearby restaurants and bars at Fort Myers Beach. Views where we were on the 9th floor were great. Hotel has a good restaurant room service and cabana bar. However, also try Heavenly Biscuit 2 blocks South of the Hotel for breakfast. You’ll save money over the hotel buffet plus their food is fantastic.

Love This Place!
This was my second time to the Diamondhead. After my stay last year I couldn’t wait to get there. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean, and the views from your room are beautiful. I was traveling alone these last two trips, and everyone made me feel at home and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back next year.
I like going in October. The weather is good and it is not crowded.

Not sure how it made insiders select....
My family and I recently stayed at The Diamond Head . Our two children ages 15 and 9 were with us. The room was small, didn’t have a stove top, just a few plates and a few bowls. Basically, the bare escentials. The staff were pretty friendly. Not really a place for kids. In the pool area there semed to be quite a few couples mauling each other. Who knows maybe the sun and a few too many drinks...... Both retaurants were good at the hotel. So I’d say the hotel was average. Go on the 60 min. tour. You get $100.00 to use anyway you’d like with in the property. If you’re looking for a great hotel (awesome for kids and couples alike) try the Pink Shell. That should be an insiders select!!!
