Maintenance work needed
In wall heating/air system had been turned off and not turned on until we entered the room. It didn’t work. Long story short, we had to change rooms after some time. When the air did work, it blew right across the bed. It turned on and off during the night with startling noise when it turned on. A better plan is to have it run constantly rather than to turn on and off so loudly.

okay, but not great
the convenience of being relatively close to the Grand Canyon is the main drawing point. The motel itself is not impressive by any standards.
