SALT LAKE
THE HOTEL STAFF IS FIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE HOTEL LACKS GOOD TELEVISION RECEPTION, PROGRAMING AND USES OLD TUBE TV’S. INTERNET SERVICE IS AVAILABLE BUT ONLY IF ONE USES A LAPTOP. ROOMS ARE WELL USED, BUT CLEAN. NOT EXACTLY PERFECT BUT ACCEPTABLE FOR THE MONEY.
FOUR BLOCKS WEST OF THE HOTEL IS 0’FALAFAL RESTAURANT. IT IS A WALK-IN, ORDER AND SIT DOWN TYPE. VERY CASUAL. THE OWNER IS MUSTAFA WHO IS VERY EXPERIENCED WITH GOOD FOOD AND PERSONALITY. THE MENU OFFERS THE GOOD TASTES OF THE MEDITERRANEAN REGION WITH LARGE PORTIONS AND VERY REASONABLE COSTS. THE PISTACHIO ICE CREAM IS A MUST WITH RICH FLAVOR.

Would definitely return
It met any needs I may have had.
Stove and fridgewas in the room with a counter for meals. Also restaurants within walking distance.

Worst Hotel we have EVER stayed in!!!!!!!
This Hotel is the worst we have ever stayed in. First off the carpet was so dirty one got black feet walking from the shower to the dresser to get dressed. The showerhead in the shower had pink and black mold growing on it. We asked to have it cleaned but nothing ever happened. The towel situation was horrible, one has to pick up dirty towels,exchange them at the office. UCK!!!! No housekeeping was ever done except for a small additional fee. Talk about very disappointing. We will never stay in a Homestead Hotel again no matter what!!!

The hotel did have a comfortable bed, it you can stand the gross carpet and all.

Four Nights Unimpressed
Where do I start, first the hotel no longer offers a day pass for nearby fittness center, second the beds were unbelivably hard for a person who likes a semi soft bed, third, the AC / Heat units were very loud and last but not least there was way too much smoking outside in the outer walkways, within 10 feet of rooms. I will not waste my money or sleep comfort again at the Homestead in Sugarhouse, SLC

comfortable and lovely surroundings
In the heart of Sugarhouse, restaurants and shops are just a short walk, and you can enjoy the serenity of a wooded area with a creek right in back of the hotel. Rooms come with a kitchenette, so you can eat in to save money if you like. Internet access in your room is available for a very small price. They don’t come to clean your room during your stay. Perhaps they will if you ask. I dont know if there is a charge for this.

Never go back
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever visited....Cheesy decor, unsatisfactory bedding poor ac controls......never book this place.

Will stay there again
This was a good location for work and lots of places to eat or stock the Frig to fix food in the room. Grocery store and great spots to eat within walking distance along with a walkway along the stream coming off the mountain.

The price was right.
We were late checking in but called and had no problems once we arrived. We had a clogged shower/tub drain which after we notified the office was taken care of quickly. It was great having a little kitchen area with a small size fridge, a microwave, toaster a a two seat dining area.
