Hilton Managua
The hotel is very clean and very well located, close to nearby restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and confortable but the room service needs much improvement. I ordered waffles and hot cakes to my room for breakfast, and they arrived quickly, however the waffles were all burned and stiff and the hot cakes tasted awful. Later during the day I told the front desk about the bad room service and they offered to look into it and sent me a complimentary fruit plate which was very good. Other than that the staff was very helpful and the room was very comfortable.

Perfect hotel for AmericanTravelers
This hotel was great--well up to the standards of any state-side Hilton hotel. Most of the staff speaks English reasonably well, which really helped me out. They are some of the friendliest people Ive ever met! I was especially grateful to the hotel the first night of my stay...my flight was delayed, not arriving until after midnight, when the hotel shuttle was done with its regular service. When a colleauge explained the problem to the front desk, they sent a cab to pick me up--he was waiting with a sign with my name on it as soon as I arrived. As I really dont speak Spanish and it was my first time in Managua, I cant say how grateful I was to find that someone had was there to help me get to the hotel.

Missing the final touches
I found the cold water faucet not working, toilet didnt flush (you have to pick up the cover and pull the lever to get it to work). But since I only stayed for one night I didnt really complained.
