Not impressed
The hotel did not look anything like the pictures on the website..When I walked in people where hanging around the front desk playing loud music..The shower was dirty, floors were dirty. Did not feel clean while in room. Just not impressed with overall hotel stay. Did not stay the remainder of the trip.

Just OK
For the room rate I paid I guess the hotel was OK. It was a huge room but with very litte lighting and decor was old and shabby. There was free internet access but the outlet was half way up the wall near the bed - the only way to use the laptop was to sit on the end of the bed!

Don’t Count on the small things
1. These people can’t even restock the common stuff - soap, shampoo, etc. 2. The doors stick (mostly lock to frame), and need maintenance, so when people close their doors they have to slam them. Nosiy in a way that clearly isn’t necessary 3. Coffee in the morning continental breakfast often isn’t (runs out) The above items are so easy and straightforward to fix, and exist day after day (I was waiting to move into my new residence so I stayed for nearly 2 weeks). This is a place that might be okay if they’d fix the small things.
Traveler's tip on dining
The local and popular brew pub is not far - go down Sycamore Dairy, cross McPherson Church, it’s on the right. Even more restaurants down that way near (Sycamore Dairy & McPherson Church) and on Morganton (go right, towards the mall).
