Great Location Great Hotel
We stayed five nights. This hotel is in a great location near the Montparnasse Tower where there are many intersecting metros to get you where you need to go. The lobby and room where nice. The courtyard entry offered a nice retreat from the busy city streets. I would definitely stay here again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Buy the Museum Pass - you can find it on Expedia. It was well worth the money. The pass allows you to skip to the front of the line at many museums and for the price is a great value.

Value and convenience in Montparnasse
Villa Modigliani is a standout hotel on a side street (rue Delambre) off Boulevard Montparnasse. The rooms are located away from the street, so street noise, very common at many Parisian hotels, is no concern here. The room cleanliness, comfort, and convenience exceed the norm for this hotel class in Paris. I will use this hotel again!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Villa Modigliani is only half a block from the great old seafood restaurant Le Dome and around the corner from La Coupole, both holdovers from vieux Paris. The hotel is half a block from the Vavin Metro stop, however it is an easy walk to the Jardin Luxembourg, Boul Mich, and, if you don’t mind a longer walk, the Saint-Germain area and Saint-Sulpice.

Not in the summer
Everything was fine, except fake internet and fake air-conditioners. Internet access points are not connected to the network (except the only one in the lobby area) and air-conditioners do not cool the air only move it around. It will be close perfect otherwise.
