Terrific
Chinese hotels have really improved over the past ten years and the best of them are now world-class. This is one of them--don’t miss the indoor pool, which is great. And the food is consistently excellent, especially at the surprisingly good Italian restaurant. Only drawback: you’re in Pudong, so it’s a bit of a trip over to the center of the city. But increasingly, you’ll be doing business in Pudong anyway.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The Shanghai subway system is excellent--you just have to steel yourself against the crowds. And make sure to position yourself to get off the train well before your stop. Nobody will get out of your way in time if you don’t.

The only interesting is the height of the hotel
I was stayin at floor 67, the room was too cold even though the AC was on! the carpet wasn’t that clean, the bath room looks too old, the water from the bath was too weak to have a shower. The hotel is very old, without recent renovation! Try something else

Incredible Comfort and Service
Virtually perfect. Room was very comfortable and elegant. Service was as good as it gets. Price through Expedia was the best I could find. Highly recommend staying here and would definitley recommend choosing a concierge level room for around $50 more per night (free breakfast, cocktails and appetizers - valued at much more than $50).
