The best hotel I have ever stayed at.
This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at! The service was incredible and the hotel and gardens were immaculate. I have been to many luxury hotels including mariot, hilton, and sheraton, and none compare to the quality of service that I received here. I would recommend this hotel in an instant.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Tokyo is a jumping city with so much to see and do. I would recommend Ueno zoo for families and the Akihabara for any electronics nut.

Very good sized rooms, excellent toiletries!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to tokyo for a couple of days, it is a nice hotel tucked in a corner, 5mins walk from SHinagawa Station which is a major station on the JR line. All rooms are good size, the toiletries they provide in the room are really nice and the cleanliness of the rooms is superb. As usual, service in Japan surpass my expectations.

Cost-benefit performance is one of the best
I have stayed in many premier hotels in the world and must say this hotel was comparable in service and amenities to the brand name franchises without the customary premium rates associated with them.

The Prince Sakura tower tokyo
The experience of staying at the The Prince Sakura was quite unique compared to other Hotels. When you arrive you do not check in at a front counter you are sat down in the lounge area and the check in personell will come to your lounge chairs and offer refreshments prior to the actual checkin. The process is quite smooth and hassel free. The room its self was quite nice it was larger than the norm for a room in japan and the accessories were above and beyond the expected. The gardens surrounding the Prince Sakura were beautifully scaped with a wonderful Koi Pond Japanese tea rooms and lush and sculpted vegatation.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Learn the train system it can get you any were you want to go in Japan. The Jr line will pretty much take you anywhere in Tokyo and the surrounding areas. When you arrive at Narita if you did set up transportation to your Hotel i would advise taking the Bus limmousine this reduce a lot of stress of getting you and your luggage to your destination.

Exceptional Experience, Luxury, & Service
This is in no way a three star hotel. I would give it at least four. In fact, we stayed in a 5 star in Madrid and the Sakura Tower equaled it in luxury and certainly in service. The hotel is beautiful-exquisite Japanese gardens surround it and the gardens are viewable from much of the hotel. The Spa is incredible...I had the best stone massage of my life there and the yoga class (even though taught entirely in Japanese) was fabulous. The room service is sort of crappy (particularly for the outrageous prices) but that is the norm in luxury hotels. The service of the staff was unreal and every whim was satisfied with the utmost of dedication, respect, and promptness. There is no absence of smiles among the staff. The attention to detail is remarkable: offering drinks during check in, towels to wipe your face upon entering, providing umbrellas, making dinner reservations, and getting taxis. Our room was INCREDIBLE, particularly given that it is in such a big city, and more specifically given that it is in Tokyo. There is a great shower and fabulous jetted tub, the comforter, pillows and bed were exceptional, closet & storage space far more than ample, robes and towels soft and lovely, and Japanese tea robes were so comfortable. THIS HOTEL IS FABULOUS. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED WITH UTMOST CONFIDENCE.
Traveler's tip on dining
Shinagawa station is across the street and offers easy access to everywhere in the city and other day trips via JR lines as well as a number of other lines. We got the 7 day JR pass (good for Shinkansen, local, etc all over Japan) and that was our best move. The station is something like a mall and has many convience stores and restaurants. There is a mall next door with shopping and more restaurants, including a McDonalds and Fridays (which we were really grateful for!)

Unbelievably expensive food, spotty shuttle service
The hotel was remarkable. It was a 10 minute walk from the Shinagawa station. The checkin process was very easy, the room was spacious and spotless. Everything was great except two things: * we arrived in the pouring rain, and the operator told us that the shuttle to the train station didnt operate mid-afternoon. We could wait for 3 hours, or we could walk. Given that it was raining, we didnt know the city, and we were checking in, it would have been nice for them to get us anyway. We ended up getting lost and soaked on the way to the hotel * meals were incredibly expensive. Over $10 for a beer? $90 for a Japanese dinner? $40 for continental breakfast? We ended up getting our meals at the 7-11 next to the train station.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Pick up cheap meals at the 7-11 by the train station. Theyll even microwave them for you.

Great for city-hoppers
Beautiful hotel, great rooms. Restaurants (like all in Japanese hotels) are outrageously expensive, but if you feel adventurous, you can hit any number of local restaurants that are better and cheaper. Close proximity to Shinagawa station and one of the subway stations makes it easy to get around the city or head on to another city. And it isnt in the middle of the crazy downtown area. Forces you to travel around the city and see different parts, instead of just hanging out in one district. Highly recommended

Extraordinary Garden Setting
When we booked The Prince Sekura Tower Tokyo we had no idea that it was in one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan. We were fortunate to arrive when the world famous Cherry Trees (Sekura ) were at peak bloom. It was simply a grand place to strool from morning to evening and the view from the glass-elevator is sublime !The Tokyo location near the Shinagawa Train Station was very handy and the hotel is a short walk from the classic Sengakuji Temple, the burail site of the famous 47 Ronin. We will definitly return to the hotel on Tokyo visits.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a Starbucks in the nearby train station and plenty of small restaurants near the hotel as well as a western-food cafe in the hotel complex.
