Nice stop!
We stopped here in our way to another destination and would have liked to stay longer. The room was quite large and very nicely decorated and furnished. We loved the big flat screen TV and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had lots of nice choices. I would definitely stay here again!

Charleston’s Nicest
I had never had the pleasure of staying at the Wingate before and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Eventhough the hottub was out of comission we were encouraged to use another facility at no additional expense. The continental breakfast was stocked and good. The bedding was very current and comfortable and clean.

Comfortable Respite
I stayed at this motel three nights and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in answering questions about the area as I had never been there before. The breakfast was OK, but not the best for someone with dairy allergies. However, the free soda being available at any time was nice. The computers worked very well and I was able to complete work, check e-mails, and print my return flight boarding pass with no difficulties.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
A must see is the New River Gorge Bridge and Hawk’s Nest. It was really impressive. At Hawk’s Nest the tram and jet boat ride is a bit pricey, but it was well worth the fee. Wonderful, fun and educational.
