Hotel Location Was Everything
The Metro Hotel on Pitt, Sydney was within walking distance of many Sydney attractions, plus it was only two blocks away from the Town Hall train station where you get off the train from the airport or catch the train, with your luggage, back to the airport or to links to all Sydney attractions. We used the SydneyPass for all travel transportaion.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We used the 3-day SydneyPass for all travel transportation on Sydney trains, buses and ferries, including to and from the Sydney Airport. Be sure to take advantage of the special ferry boat routes on Sundays for tremendous sightseeing opportunities.

Great Hotel for the Business Traveller
You can’t get a better location.Especially if you use public transport to get to meetings. Standard room is small, but clean and in good shape.

Do Not Eat at Hotel Restaurant! Expensive,lousy food. Many better choices within 5 minute walk.

Great locations, great service
This hotel meets all of the basic needs. Not a fancy hotel, norloaded with lots of "extras" (no gym, etc.), but I would definitely reccommend staying here. The location is perfect - you can walk to many attractions from here. It’s a short train ride from the airport. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again, & you can’t beat thee price.
