Great Stay, Great Location.
First of all make sure you eat at the 42 Bistro located in the hotel, menu is very good. The room was clean and the bed was more than comfortable. The location is right in the middle of everything you could possibly shop for. The Marshall House exceeded every expectation I had. There was nothing I found unsatisfactory. A+
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The location of The Marshall is where you want to be in Savannah. You can walk to a lot of local attractions, however I recommend taking the trolley to other attractions because Savannah is pretty big.

Great location and plenty of charm
The hotel is in a great location to shopping, restaurants and the river walk. The restaurant serves delicious food and the morning breakfast is just right. Chaming old hotel but has been updated to all the creature comforts.
