Pleasantly Surprised, Would gladly stay again

This hotel was in a great location right off the interstate overlooking the Smokies, right next to a Waffle House and probably 1/2 mile from Wal-Mart and some other shopping. We didn’t have any trouble getting in the parking lot even though the drive is kind of steep. We had an easy check-in, our request for 3 rooms together was honored, and we were put on the same floor as the Indoor Pool, which was awesome. Ok, awesome is a stretch but to be able to swim in October is unusual in a 2 star hotel. It was small but not crowded - actually no one else was there - and perfect for myself and my daughter, and the water was toasty warm. Our room was clean and spacious with a frige and microwave, 3 big chunky pillows on each bed, and a nice hot shower with good pressure. Plenty of room for 2 adults, 1 child, and another child in a playpen. It was a front-facing room and if it hadn’t been raining we would have had a beautiful view. The only negatives about the room were a musty smell at first, but running the air got rid of that, and there was a tiny hole in one of the bedspreads that kind of looked like a cigarette burn. I read several complaints about the breakfast but I thought it was a very adequate continental breakfast - cereal, toast, bagels, milk, juice, and really good donuts. Overall we were pleasantly surprised, thought it was a great value for the price, and would gladly stay again.

A few flaws but fairly reasonably priced.

The room that we stayed in was on the back side of the hotel so it was a very quiet night’s sleep. This was the best thing about this hotel! The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and on the shower curtain. The refrigerator was not cold; only cool. The mattresses were covered in some type of plastic which did cause you to sweat quite a bit. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired but they are located right next to Waffle House. Decent value for the money....

Desent price / desent stay

This was our first time staying in Chattanooga,Tn. 2 adults & 1 child. Stayed in one room with double beds. Apperance of room was good. Housekeeping could of taken a little more pride in their work. Hair left behind in shower, counter top by sink not wiped off to good, still sticky. Carpets need a good cleaning. No plastic liners were in trash cans. Overall was a good stay, room was quiet, felt safe in room. Front desk staff was very helpful with local information on tourist information. Continental breakfast wasn’t spectacular, but it was quick and simple and something to put in your belly. I would recommend this hotel, the staff really does help make the stay more pleasant, very helpful and friendly! I would stay there again! Traveler from Brown County, Indiana

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Great place for family vacation. Close to restaurants, look out mountain and rock city. Several other attractions for family to see and do, hotel lobby has all the info, and staff is very helpful! P.S. Swimming pool is small, but very clean!
