Decent for a quick stay
I was just down for the 2009 Homecoming weekend, and didnt anticipate being in the room much. Some reviews I read werent inspiring, but the price and convenient location were perfect for my needs. Overall, the hotel is decent for a quick trip for people who arent picky about accomodations. The room had a nice big bed, which is all I really needed for my trip. The one thing I did notice was the towels - they had a very weird smell to them. I would probably try to find other options first for my next trip, but in a pinch it was a perfect deal for my needs. Couples or families looking for a home base on vacation may want to check elsewhere, but for people who just need a place to rest their head would find it perfect.

Nice hotel
I was not expecting much from this hotel, for the price I paid and previous reviews, but it turned out to be a very nice experience. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We were lucky to have the upgrade to a big room and the view was fantastic. Our original plan was to stay in nearby hostel, but adding a few more bucks made it a whole lot better!

Incredible value in fun, downtown Tucson
We have stayed at the Hotel Arizona previously, and love it for its location, service, and value! The staff is extremely helpful when you need suggestions on restaurants or directions to an area landmark. Pay a little more, and get one of the corner rooms with windows that offer you a 180 degree view of the scenic Santa Catalina mountains and east up Broadway toward U of A and the Foothills. Dont miss a meal at historic El Charro, and its signature Carne Seca! Happy Hour with half-priced margaritas is every day from 3 to 6 pm.
