Welcomed with a capital "WELCOME" Want to go back
This was my Birthday weekend and the welcome that we felt was absolutely the best. Kimberly at the Front Desk made us feel that we were the only people in the Hilton upon arrival. Her winning smile and cheerful ways are a great asset to the Hilton. I have special needs and they were met at the highest standards. Jorge, in Housekeeping, is the BEST!!! He came to the room and removed the feather pillows and covers. I can’t wait to return to the Hilton and spend another weekwnd there. This Hilton is close to all the sights and sounds of MysticSeaport and Aquarium. Thanks

Credit card hold problem...
The cleanliness and comfort of the hotel room were fine. My only problem was in getting the hotel to release the hold they put on my credit card for "incidental expenses." Since the room was pre-paid through Expedia, they swiped the credit card for potential miscellaneous charges. That hold is supposed to be lifted when you check out. Mine was not. I called the hotel and was told they couldn’t do anything about it - the problem was with my credit card company. NOT TRUE! My credit card company had to place two calls to the hotel in order to get the appropriate code to lift the hold. While this was only a minor annoyance, a Hilton hotel should have better billing and accounting procedures.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Mystic is a good alternative to hotels at Foxwoods. Saved almost $200 for one night’s stay on a holiday weekend night. Casino was less than 15 miles away.
