Great hotel
Stayed here for a residency interview. Close to the L, so getting around was easy.

apartment feeling
The hotel is close to the airport and to the highway, neverteless it wasn’t easy to get there. My brother and I travel alot and have, therefore, seen many hotels. This hotel is really unusually, so is the architecture. This hotel is a must have seen. The staff is uncomplicated and helpful. Our room had comfortable signature beds, an oversized showerhead, a plug & play connectivity station, a 42” LCD TV and much more. It’s hard to describe everything. So, I guess you have to go there and see it by yourself. Beeing again in Chicago, this hotel will be our first choice.
Make use of the free airport shuttle service. At the airport you take the blue line train for down town Chicago (Clark/Lake). For shopping I recommend Gurnee Mills. Gurnee Mills is located at the intersection of Interstate 94 and Grand Avenue (IL 132).

Great Hotel
I was only there one night and everything was perfect. The staff were so helpful and nice! The rooms are so clean. I love having a safe and a refrigerator in the room. I enjoyed it so much that I booked a stay at Aloft in Frisco, TX and it was just as great!! If you want to be close to downtown Chicago, you would have to get transportation, in that case I would recommend staying closer to downtown. But if you want to be close to the airport or the suburbs the ALoft is perfect. Highly recommend ALoft Hotels.
