Wonderful Stay
The Hotel Brittania was a wonderful place to stay. Close to most sites and easy access to the metro, trains and bus lines. The breakfast in the morning was very well laid out and always something to choose from whether it was fresh fruits & breads or eggs & bacon. All of the hotel staff was friendly and very willing to help out.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you are going to go to any of the main sites or museums that are part of the Roma Pass I would highly recommend getting the Roma Pass just to be able to go to the front of the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine ticket line. No waiting in the long line. Part of the Roma pass is transportation for three days and the metro/train system is wonderful. We went to Ostia Antica one day using the Roma Pass transportation ticket.

NIce Hotel in Rome
Great location, close to everything yet secluded from the main thoroughfares. Nice room, very clean with a nice comfortable bed. Staff pleasant and helpful when asked. Would highly recommend for tourists.

Great Value...Family Friendly.
Stayed here with my wife and 2-year-old daughter. Hotel location was convenient to Termini Train Station and was within walking distance of the major sights in Rome (we walked everywhere--Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, etc). Hotel was on a quite street close to Republica. Staff were very friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast was free and very good. Room size was adequate.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Check out your banks FX policy before your trip. We actually got a better rate by doing a direct withdrawal of Euros (even with ATM fees added in) at an out-of-network ATM than we would have gotten by exchanging Dollars for Euros at one of the Foreign Exchange counters on the streets of Rome.
