A good hotel for a weekend with our grandson
We stayed here when we visited our grandson, who just moved to LA a month ago. He’s 9 and had a great time with the cool elevators and atrium. We swam in the pool -- nicely maintained -- and had a good dinner in the bar. The hotel is well maintained, good service and people, and we’ll go back the next time we go visit him.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL NOR WILL ANYONE I KNOW OR LIKE.
My daughter and I were recovery from surgery, so my husband and I decided to stay at this hotel because we had stayed at Hilton Hotels in the past and had been very satisfied. The minute we arrived at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa we had the worst experience. My daughter and I could not get any rest and were not treated with one ounce of kindness, consideration or sympathy. We had major surgery and were treated like second class citizen’s. I asked for assistance getting into the elevator and was ignored. I called on the phone for various things and was disconnected repeatedly. No one at the hotel assisted us with our luggage or asked if they could be of any assistance. We could not sleep at night because there was screaming and loud noises in the hallways and above our room all night long. It was quite clear my daughter and I needed wheel chairs and no one asked if they could get us a wheel chair or asked to help us in any way. My family and I were treated as bad as it gets. All the while we were trying to heal from surgery. My daughter ended up crying and asked to be brought to another hotel but the doctor said she could not be moved.The front desk employees, the restaurant employees, bartenders and phone employees need a major extended course in Hotel Hospitality.
Do not stay here. There are thousands of other hotels you can choice from.
