Nice place.
Very nice front desk staff. Four blocks from Grand Central Terminal, 30 Rock, and 5th. Ave. shopping. Most comfortable bed I have ever sleep in. Hotel was willing to check bags before and after checkin and out. However, there was a fee. There was also a fee to use internet to print boarding passes. Raffles, restaurant in hotel was too expensive, but there is a Starbucks located in hotel as well.
Look for Duane Reade drug stores located every few blocks. They have everyting you could need, including snacks and some basic groceries. I believe they are all open 24 hours. Good prices.Clean.

NYC Value
My husband and I just returned from staying 4 nights at the Radisson Lexington. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little anxious about our stay. The hotel was beautiful and the staff the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered in NYC. We visit NYC at least once a year and this is our first stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient for walking and subway travel. The only problem was that we had a double bed and at home we have a king. We knew in advance, so that was not the problem of the hotel. We asked for a later check-out and they extended it 2 hours. The room was very clean and the staff was great. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will certainly return. The hotel was well manintained and clean and the staff was very helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. Every morning when we left our room, the staff was out and about cleaning, etc. and they always took time to say good morning. I have always loved NYC and feel that the people dont get the credit they deserve. I always ask many directions, just to be sure Im going the right way and in all my years of traveling to NYC, only once has a person been rude. New Yorkers may think they are not friendly, but they are always more than willing to answer questions and give directions. I have had some wonderful conversations with strangers on the subway. We are from a small town in northeastern Ohio, so NYC is an entirely different world for us.
