BEST HOTEL NOT TO RELY ON

I CALLED TWICE DURING MY TRIP COMING HOME FROM FLORIDA TO WISCONSIN FOR CONFIRMATION AND WAS TOLD THE ROOM 2 QUEENS NON-SMOKING WAS AWAITING. TWICE I CALLED!! UPON ARRIVAL OF COURSE, THEY GAVE THE ROOM TO SOMEONE ELSE AND DIDN’T HAVE A ROOM TO MY SPECIFICATIONS AVAILABLE ANYMORE. ACTUALLY THEY DIDN’T HAVE A ROOM. COORDINATION WOULD OF BEEN NICE FROM MORNING SHIFT PERSONNEL TO NIGHT SHIFT WHEN WE ARRIVED. WE DID END UP IN A ROOM 1 KING BED. 1 COUCH, 3 PEOPLE.

Nice space for family of 6

It isn’t easy to find space for a large family. The room was spacious and comfortable. We will stay again. It’s also nice to have breakfast included.

We had a two room suite. Two queen beds and sleeper sofa. The nice part was a t.v. in each room. We put the younger kids to bed and the rest of us could easily stay up and relax without disturbing them.

Pet-friendly hotel

The desk clerk went the extra mile to call all nearby restaurants to see what may be open for dinner due to our late arrival time. She also provided us with warm cookies (right out of the oven) and offered us cold milk. We chose the location because they are pet-friendly and saw them on a list of pet-friendly hotels. We brought our dogs and there were other dogs there as well. The dogs were all well-behaved and quiet. My husband enjoyed the breakfast. The suite was quite spacious and had two televisions. The sitting room was a nice size. The next day of our stay, the other desk clerk provided my husband and children directions and recommendations on nearby attractions. The staff was great! Location is great!

Traveler's tip

It is not mentioned on site, but it is pet-friendly.

A nice place to stay.

Our room was extremely comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was outstanding, even though they ran out of waffle batter one time! We had no maintenance issues, but there was a water leak in one of the rooms while we were there. A bucket caught water dripping from the ceiling as we ate breakfast. The hotel was convenient to reach with Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell, and Wal-Mart close by. I really enjoyed the hotel - it was quiet and comfortable. The price is not bad if you like a large room to spread out in, otherwise it is a little expensive. But we were extremely satisfied with our stay.

Bring your own pillows!

Enjoyed our stay here in Chattanooga. Our hotel suite was comfortable--however the pillows left a lot to be desired. I suggest that your bring your own from home. The breakfast was enjoyable, but the trash needed to be emptied more often!

Clean and Comfortable

After reading reviews of less expensive hotels, i got nervious. The place was clean and comfortable and I would go back. The staff wasn’t overly friendly and the place was nothing special. I have stayed at nicer places for less money. I don’t know what you would get for less money in that area. I have no complaints about the important stuff...the rooms were really clean and comfortable.

satisfied customer

We enjoyed staying on the "outskirts" of Chattanooga. I would not recommend staying in downtown Chattanooga - it was awful looking. This hotel was great if you are going to Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the Incline Railway. The breakfast was awesome!!! Pool was way too cold for July!

The room was clean and bed comfortable.

Was satisfied with the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Access to I-24 was convenient for going into downtown area.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Located close to Ruby Falls and Rock City. Then Incline Railway was just a little further up the road from the above attractions. So this side of the city was convenient for seeing these attractions.

Great location

The hotel was clean and close by to lookout mountain. The pool was great for the kids. Only thing that we did not like is that the front desk staff was not friendly and did not even tell us about the breakfast in the morning, etc. We had to ask about everything.

great location

Best location/quality if you intend to spend time at Lookout mountain.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

The battlefields of Chattanooga light map was very useful to help understand the events that took place in that area. Visit this attraction before any other Civil War related site.

Room was clean and coffee in the room was a plus. But really not worth the money.

I thought when you got a room with a bar that it would be stocked. There was nothing there. Ironing board and iron displayed in room should have been behind a door. Caused an unsightly decor to the room.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Don’t pay the money for a suite when a regular room comes with coffee, iron, micro and fridge.

Nice hotel

The hotel as a whole was fine.Good breakfast food. But, our toilet handle was cracked, the sheer curtain’s hem was ripped on one side of the window and the drapery was not able to be hooked so it hung straight to keep out the light. Also, the grand stairway was beautiful, but around the walls of the entire stairway, the wallpaper border was falling off. If the maintenance is not done timely, this hotel will be trashed in a very short time.Right now it is just little stuff, but as the little stuff gets ignored, it becomes big stuff...

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Close to the aquarium and ruby falls, rock city, and incline railway, and not far from the big mall.

Great Stay

Enjoyed our stay. Very close to Ruby Falls, Rock City and Incline Railway. Short drive to downtown for the Tennessee Aquarium. Breakfast buffett rather small. The only complaint was the pillows. Extremely flat and very uncomfortable. If you are able to please bring your own!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

It’s worth it to go to Ruby Falls and Rock city. Gorgeous views and interesting underground caves with a beautiful underground waterfall. Pass on the incline railway it’s boring.

Adequate but not great neighborhood

This is an adequate, livable place to stay. The room s are a little shabby, but not too dirty and are large and well arranged. The neighborhood is a little scary, but security seems OK. Breakfast is serviceable but not great.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Right next to tourist trap ’Lookout Mountain’

very user friendly

We checked with 2 children under 3 after getting off an international flight and a 3 hr drive. it was important that this hotel was comfortable and reasonably quite - it was.The location is very handy for easy and quick sightseeing too. Enjoyed Chattanooga so much we stopped again on the way back to the airport for 2 more days! The quality of this hotel helped make this a good part of our holiday. Nice big breakfast to start the day with too.

The Discovery musuem was the high light of the trip for my 4 yrs old and every enjoyable for the 11mo. old.One fee and you can come and go all day! The park with the merry-go-round was great for clumpy’s ice cream and the fountain they could run in in the 97F heat! Smoothie King great in the heat for kids and still good for ya!

Will stay with them again

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Bed was a little soft. Cracker Barrell and Taco Bell was next door. Great breakfast. Nice pool.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Chattanooga is only 6 miles away. Thgere’s enough to do there to keep you busy for 3 or 4 days.

Very nice hotel - very nice price!

This hotel was comfortable and the staff was helpful. It was conveniently located near the interstate and restaurants. I would definitely stay again!

The suite had 2 queen beds in the bedroom, and a pull-out sofa in the living room. It fit our family of six very well.

Chatanooga’s Quiet Get-Away

This hotel was beautiful! Because this hotel is located a few miles from downtown, we enjoyed a calmer and quieter atmosphere than some downtown estabishments might afford. Our suite was beautiful and very comfortable and the staff was generously hospitable and helpful. I highly reccommend this hotel!
