This is one of one of your two choices in Business Class lodging in Suva
This hotel had a friendly and helpful staff, clean property, well outside the city center of Suva. I had some occaisional insects in my room (not uncommon in tropical locations). I was more unsettled by the pastry tray brought straight from the kitchen (covered with a stretch wrap seal) that had a fairly large, very active cockroach running around in it. The business center and gift store were both shut down during my 8 day stay. Apparently due to the hotel changing management recently. Hotel was able to readily exchange currency onsite. Good access to taxis and public transportation. Every meal I had was exceptionally good. Small glitch with the in-lobby tourism desk - The one day I had an opportunity to do some diving, the operator of the desk gave me some incorrect information. When I returned to the desk to arrange the trip (the person was 40 minutes late arriving, and I was told it must be arranged 24+ hours in advance. I’d probably give it another try - especially if the business center was open. For my next trip, I’m going to try a different place.

Beware when shopping downtown - especially if you have light colored skin - of people being exceptionally nice, and offering to "help" you find souvenirs. They will likely wish to be paid for their services.
