Stayed here before and will stay here again
This is very easy to find when entering Savannah. There is a parking garage for your car. The staff from the check-in to the housekeeping are very polite and friendly. Breakfast is great and easy to meet fellow travelers. From here you can walk all over Savannah. I highly recommend this Inn.
When to go would be when it is in the 70s in the day and 60s at night. Must see would be to ride the tour bus and then a haunted pub tour at night. Paula Deens is very good but could be hard to get into. Mrs Wilkes is family seating and only serves lunch but well worth it. Also they have packages where you can get a discount to tour some of the famous houses.

Not bad for the money
The carpet in our room was a little worn, the room would probably be more appealing if it was replaced. Also the bar is very skimpy compared to bars at other hotels. The bartender seemed a little unknowledgeable and uninterested.

The DL on the Lowcountry
The hotel was conveniently located a block from a public parking garage (visitors center sells 48 hour parking pass -good deal!). The room was okay except the toilet ran, the faucet moved when turning on/off the water, the room door was not square (possible security issue), and the ice machine on the floor was broken. From reading reviews prior to booking, the noise with other guests was an issue - traveling in October, I was hoping to avoid this issue to no avail. The revolving door of charter buses is common at this hotel. Overall, the hotel has been greatly used and needs some serious updating and renovations.
