Good Hotel to hold a conference
I found it convenient to stay at the same hotel as the 3-day conference I was attending. The daily breakfast (cooked to order) was terrific.

Good Value
One gets a great breakfast, plentiful cocktails during the evening reception, and a spacious suite. Theres a nice pool and an adequate business room and exercise room. The hotel is tired, though. Out rooms upholstery was torn, the sofa sagged, and the cocktail table was broken. The lovely lobby is marred by dusty, faded plastic greenery along every corridor. However, for the price and the respite from the mania on the strip, it is a decent value.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
It is better to take taxis instead of renting a car. The city glitz makes driving in Vegas dangerous.

Vegas Baby
You can not go wrong with Embassy Suites and this hotel, just down from the Airport, is no exception. My wife and I were driving back to Vegas from Bryce Canyon and I wanted to stay at a great Hotel, near the Airport (for rental car return) and not spend a lot of money. Embassy Suites met these Criteria and Expedia delieverd on Price. Breakfast was included and there were two Chefs who made our breakfast right in front of us, which made everything perfect.
