Dont be Fooled
We travel alot and this was not as impressive as it looks. The chateau and landscape are beautiful but you might as well just visit for a walk of the grounds and take photos but do not sleep there. I booked a deluxe rooom at the Chateau, because I thought we would be staying in the beauful chateau that is in all thier photos. Unfortunately when i arrived they walked me to a completely diffetent new building. I wonder if I had booked a regular room, would they have given me a room in their stables. I wonder what it takes to actually sleep in the chataeu. They have a nice trick, with thier recent additions of two buildings with new rooms over the vineyards. Dont be fooled. Also customer service is very weak for a small luxury hotel like this one. We booked a dinner reservation at their restaurant and although the restaurant was not even close to full they did not want to offer us one of the many empty tables on the patio. We waited for a menu or a glass of water but neither came within 30 minutes, so we decided to get up and leave and head into town. Funny thing is nobody even noticed we left. Anyway, god luck with this so called luxury hotel. The only thing luxury is the chateau itself.
