Will most likely choose this hotel again on our next trip.

The staff is very helpful. Rooms are neat and clean. Metro station is very closeby and very useful. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool.

value for money

Centrally located in Sukhumvit area, close to skytrain and Emporium department store. Rooms are spacious as is the entire hotel. It’s a big hotel with many rooms, so don’t expect a boutique kind of approach. In parts it could do with a bit of modernization but it has all the needed comforts at a reasonable price.

resonable price but need to improve service

Due to the facilities, cleaness, room-comfortableness, security, and location, this hotel costs very resonable. The breakfast are excellent and it was good that they start to serve breakfast from 5:00am. Except for their service, overall I am satisfied with this hotel. However, I would like them to improve thier service. First of all, they are not very good at speaking English including front personnels. I asked an iron and an iron board at the front desk. A housekeeping broght them to my roon next morning (not the same day!). I asked her where I should return them, but she just said "OK" and rushed out from my room. I thought she seemed not to understand English very well. You shoud speak English slowly and use just easy words. Second, they are not very freindly to guests. They usually do not simle to guests even though they bow to their boss very politely, which looked me like for them, guests are much less important than their boss. This might be cultural diffrence, but since I am accustomed to Western-style hotel service, I was not very comfortable by that.

Great value and good service

Upgraded to suite, cheaply. Good room and excellent house keeping, laundry, room service and spa. The location is OK. A walk across the park to the sky train - but mostly took cheap taxis.

Great Hotel, Great Location

I’ve stayed in the imperial twice in the past two weeks. At the beginning of my Thailand trip and I came to it at the end of the trip. The hotel is in a great location, considerably a short trip from the airport. The staff is extremely nice and efficient. The location is also great because it’s right next to the Bangkok sky train station, and next to the emporium shopping center. In total - a great deal for a short and not expensive stay in Bangkok.

Exremely well situated hotel

this is the 3rd time i have stayed at this hotel in the premier double room. from start to finish the hotel took care of my needs. The morning breakfast came with the price of the room and is great. the imperial club (again part of the room rate) has a happy hour from 6pm - 8pm and served excellent snacks and premium drinks. this time i tried the vietnamese restaurant "uncle Ho" situated on the 4th floor and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hospitality.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

situated on soi 20 the hotel has plenty of night life within a few minutes walk of the hotel front.

Not Impressed

This hotel did not meet my standards. The room did not feel clean. I noticed dust on the bath room counter/sink area and it looked dirty like it needed a good cleaning. The grout in the shower/bath tub had black mildew. The phones in the room were old and did not function properly (the buttons could not be pressed down to make a call) and were dirty (grease on the mouthpiece). I was afraid to relax and feel at home because the place did not feel clean overall.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

The hotel is located in the middle of the Soi and not convenient enough to talk to the BTS train station (15-20 minute walk).

Great location plus park access

This hotel is a grand old place with two towers located in the shopping and entertainment area of Bangkok. The hotel is a little older which is both a plus and a minus. On the plus side it has a very classy and grand feel to it without being tacky like some modern hotels can be. On the minus side the bathrooms are small and the furniture a bit old fashioned. The hotel is located on Imperial Queen’s Park which is a nice escape from the city (if not the heat) and allows quick access to the shopping center on the main road which also has a skytrains station on one of the floors. The skytrain is important since street traffic can be very bad throughout Bangkok. The staff were very nice and quite helpful. The hotel also has numerous dining options but is well located so that getting out for a meal is easy. The pool looked very nice but I did not have time to enjoy it.

Briliant

Had a really relaxing break,we stayed in a suite which was absolutly wonderfull as we have a very active 3yr old he had plenty of room to play. The swimming pools are very child freindly as were the staff, I would highly recommend this hotel to everybody young or young at heart. also just a short stroll through the park to the train station.

If you have a child with a buggy I would recommend going through the shopping centre as carrying a buggy up the stairs is very exhausting.

Imperial Queens Park Hotel

I chose this hotel so I can get to the airport to catch an early morning flight, which was about 30 min away. Good - in the heart of city, close to the Emporium which is a mega-shopping department. Impressive entrance and huge scale. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Bad - a bit outdated room although clean and everything works fine. Surrounding stores cater to mega tourists. Other - favorite hotel for Japanese group tourists. Convenient, big and a bit outdated,

Lovely Hotel

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Good location. Nice park connects to back entrance, which bypasses massage parlors & street vendors on the hotel main street. Shopping mall with large food court is a 5 minute walk through the park. Good food at hotel (check to see if breakfast buffet is included with the room).

Excellent Value

this is a really great value for money. we stayed in a premier double room suite and the available space was great. breakfast was incuded as part of the room rate and was very good. Also the imperial club was included as well which provided complimentary drinks and snacks from 6pm to 8pm each night. overall an excellent stay.

Traveler's tip on dining

the hotel has several choices of restaurants to try: chinese, vietnamese, french, japanese, coffee shop, as well as some other outlets in the lobby and at the swimming pool side. the locationof the hotel is close to the shopping entertainment area and choices of good food from smaller restaurants is plentiful

Will stay in this Hotel again

Magnificient Hotel. 5 or more restaurants - clean - huge nice elegant rooms with 2 pools. Staff very accomodating and spoke English. Close to shopping, restaurants, park and sky train. It is a very elegant Hotel and still enforced non- casual attire in some of their Restaurants. Food was wonderful.

Bangkok’s Ideal Location and Superb Accommodations: Imperial Queens Park Hotel

The Imperial Queens Park Hotel was a superb hotel. It is located in the bustling Sukhumvit area, adjacent to the park and near the Emporium Shopping complex and MRT. Good value for the price. Clean, safe and secure. My previous stay here was during the 2006 Coup and it was safe and enjoyable then as well.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

This is within walking distance of all sorts of night life. Enjoy but be aware of the dangers at night.
