The opposite of Wow!
When we first arrived, I was thoroughly impressed by the person behind the counter. Attentive, responsive, all around nice lady. Even pointed out we were getting a lower level ’cabin-like’ room ("Very quiet - noone will bother you!). We walked into a sweltering room (many hotels prepare the room ahead!), and although that wasn’t a big deal - the floors were ’spongy’ around the bed. They were clean, but it was almost like someone installed carpet over rotted wood! Continental breakfast was mostly underwhelming, but it did have waffles.
