Grand Inn
A great hotel with a nice bar and good restaurants. Right on the water with great views across Mobile Bay. The golf courses are fun to play, challenging but not too difficult.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The USS Alabama is worth stopping at. If you’re really couregous, drive down to Gulf Shores for a drink at the Floribama Cafe. Yee-Haw!

Special get away from it all kinda place
This hotel is our get away from it all place..relaxing atmosphere, grounds are beautiful with old oak trees as well as well maintained flowers and bushes. Recommend bayside view although it cost a little more you won’t regret it when you sit out on the balcony early in the morning as the sun comes up and at night when the sun goes down. Sunday brunch is a real treat. Holidays are expecially nice as the grounds are beautifully decorated and the Christmas spirit is in the air.
Traveler's tip on shopping
If you are looking for "good deal" shopping you are only 30 minutes from the Foley outlets. Ask for a map at the hotel. Very easy to get to. Also recommend LuLu’s for lunch. Usually crowded as it is a hot spot but go for a late lunch. LuLu is Jimmy Buffett’s sister and her restaurant sits on the water. Nice atmosphere and good food. Interesting for both kids and Adults.

Grand Hotel and southern hospitality were spectacular
Hotel is in great shape. No issues with the rooms. Obviously the view you have is based on the price and room choice or how lucky you get. The grounds are in great shape, staff are all friendly no matter what job they have. Pool area was in great shape. I can’t think of anything negative to this hotel other than if you want inexpensive food or drink - leave the hotel grounds and go down the road to fairhope.
