Decent place to stay...
My room was very small but very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom by European standards was very large and quite nice. I stayed three hotels in Harrogate on my trip, the Swan, the Yorkshire, and the Crown. The next time I go back I’ll definitely choose the Crown because it had FREE internet and a decent breakfast. The Yorkshire was a complete dump and very dirty. The Swan had the best parking situation of the three although during the day the locals use the rear lot to park in. Over all I was happy with the Swan, but there was no internet access in the rooms and it cost 10 Pounds Sterling a day to access it from the lobby which is ridiculous. The breakfast at the Swan is very good. So basically the Swan is a nice old, clean, freshly remodeled hotel in the heart of Harrogate. Lots of restaurants in walking distance, but I recommended the Crown as my number one pick.
