Fun weekend getaway
The resort is awesome. All the staff work hard to welcome you and ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The resorts health club is awesome. You can workout - play raquetball - use any of the health clubs fabulous gym. The food is great. More good eating is just around the corner. Laguna Beach is only a few minutes away. It’s quite, rooms are well designed. Loved the bed and pillows - you will sleep like a baby. Or if it’s a kid getaway you will love it! The only item that should be changed - they charge for parking.

How hard is it to fix a tv?
Overall everything was good except the tv stopped working the first night and it took repeated attempts to get them to fix it which never worked. I thought it would have been best to switch rooms or tv’s, but neither happened.

Good, Bad & Ugly...
My sister & I met for a girl’s weekend & chose to stay at the RCS. We arrived late in the day, past the check-in time & were told by the front desk that they weren’t sure if our room was ready yet & had to wait for a response from the house-keepers before checking us in. Mind you, we were at least 2 hours later than published check-in time. We were accomodating & went to the bar for a glass of wine & waited, nice bar, good wine. Initially we were please with the aesthetics of the room, looked nice and beds looked comfy (they were) However, when placing our reservation on-line I went for the small upcharge and secured a room with a view, instead, what we ended up with was a room with a view of the roof top & all of the air conditioning units. A little disappointing. Additionally, I am pretty sure they did a rush job on cleaning the bathroom... and very sure that they did a bad job of vacuuming the floor...long black hair all over it, kind of a turn off! I am pretty sure that they didn’t change the duvet cover either, once the sheets were pulled back the duvet cover revealed lipstick and makeup that didn’t belong to myself or my sister. Lastly, I tried to speak to one of the front desk clerks about the view & cleaning & he was not helpful nor seemed concerned. He told me that I’d have to wait until the next day to speak to a manager & insinuated that I should be happy with what I was charged for the room. Not all in all terrible, but disappointing on some levels.
