Great location by the Eiffle Tower
We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Bourdonnais . This hotel is located a block from the Paris Metro station Ecole Militare . Hotel staff is friendly and speaks excellant English. I have read the other negative reviews and did not see any of them. Hotel Bourdonnais is located in one of the nicest Districts in Paris. The rooms are clean and large.. I emailed the hotel 3 weeks ahead and asked for a 5th floor room with a balcony and a view of the Eiffle Tower. Within minutes received a email that my request was confirmed. Rooms are clean .
The Metro is easy and the fastest form of transportation. I do not see the advantage of buying any form of Metro pass. We only used the Metro 4 or 5 times a day at the most. The Carnet or book of 10 single use tickets is more practical.

a jewel in a gem of a location
A few minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower....and not even a block and a half from the Metro..... this hotel serves its purpose well. It is quaint and cozy, well-maintained, and has an accomodating staff which helped us make travel arrangements to the airport. The hotel’s cleanliness is tops. We had a triple room....and we had just enough space for the 3 of us.
Try the restaurant at the corner of the Ecole Militaire metro stop....LA TERRASSE

older but what we wanted
The bed was two beds pushed together. Metro very close to get anywhere in Paris learn to use a plus. Two grocery stores near by. Two blocks away a road with all kinds of good stuff . We enjoyed this place and the staff very helpful.
