Would not go back
Room was the size of a shoebox, literally. And the bathroom was even smaller with no ventilation so it reeked of mold and mildew. This hotel was highly overrated at any price -but at their prices it was nothing short of an overt theft of your wallet.

Elegant but unobtrusive
The hotel’s terrific location makes it easy to get anywhere in Manhattan (walking, subway, or cab). The room was luxurious and well-designed. The service was perfect, but never too much--if you needed something, they would get it for you, but otherwise you were left alone. The rooftop club is lovely--the perfect place for breakfast or drinks--but ridiculously expensive.
