Serves it’s purpose at a reasonable price for the area
I stayed for one evening to enjoy festivities on South Beach and it was fine for that purpose and the rate was reasonable. The continental breakfast was a bonus and they also offer a discount if you dine there. If you want a no frills place to lay your head after a night out enjoying South Beach and even to wake up and walk to the beach in the morning it’ll do just fine. If you’re looking for luxury or to impress....not the place.

Basic, no frills, great location and staff
Good if you’re on a budget, walkable to most places in SoBe, bathroom in our room was tiny, staff was really nice and helpful

you get what you pay for
while it wasnt the most luxurious hotel ever, it did it’s job. it was affordable and right by the beach and other attractions in south beach. when i first checked in, i examined the room. it stank of some kind of cleaning liquid. the sheets were dirty. the bathroom was moldy. the shower didn’t work. i informed the front desk and he sent someone to come fix it. they came about half hour later and said it was not fixable. i was moved to another room next door. it was safe and i enjoyed the free razor and toothpaste in the new room, but i wondered by the other room didn’t have the free amenities. the new room was a bit better however, the room was not clean. the sheets were stained, the room stank of cleaning liquid or air freshener again, the floors were dusty, the towels were stained, the tub was painted and peeling. the room was tolerable, but i brought bedsheets to lay on top of the bed so i would not have to get into the bedspread. the flat screen television was a good touch though. the front desk was very friendly and helpful. the restaurant downstairs is also very good with daily lunch specials and 2 for 1 drinks. also, hotel guests get 20% off of the food since the restaurant is not a part of the hotel. overall, i would stay again just for the price, and if i had no other options, since i’m a student, i had very few options. if i could afford a better place i would not stay here again though.

there is a cuban restaurant on 7st and collins ave. delicious and cheap.
