Convenient and Friendly
Central Basilica Hotel’s location made it always easy to find my way back, regardless of the hour...I just looked for the church’s towers. The front desk staff members went out of their way to be helpful - breakfast was excellent, and the room was comfortable. This is a very good value and a nice introduction to the city of Budapest.

Good hotel, great location
The room was a little tight, but exactly what was promised. Good bathroom, good breakfast, fantastic location, helpful front desk. The internet is solid, but the wireless was a little weak. They provided a cable for ethernet. Laundry service was too expensive, seek alternatives. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great location though an average hotel
Excellent customer service from all staff. The front desk male staff were highly attentive and professional. The location was excellent for accessing public transportation. We were disappointed in the room, as it was very small and the lighting was quite dim. The twin beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. The bathroom fixtures were of poorer quality, and the toilet hinge was broken. The room safe was challenging as it was on the floor of the wardrobe. The directions to operate the safe were unusual and posted at eye level, so it took both of us to actually use it. The Basilica bells were charming to hear! The breakfast was rather basic, though the food was fresh.
