A mandatory resort fee is due upon check-out. The fee charged at the hotel is $10 per room/night from April 1 to December 14 and $20 per room/night from December 15 to March 31. The resort fee charged at condo accommodations is 6-percent of room rate/night year round. The resort fee includes access fitness and health facility, shuttle service to Lionshead and Vail Villages, in-room coffee and tea services, local telephone access and 800-number access calls made from the guestroom, incoming faxes, and in-room high-speed Internet access.

What to expect: Located in the mountain base area of Cascade Village, this four-story hotel is within two miles of Vail Village and Lionshead, and eight miles from Beaver Creek. Vacationers and business travelers gather in a lobby with leather chairs surrounding a stone fireplace, or relax in a library with mountain views.
Amenity highlights: The 78,000-square-foot Aria Spa & Club includes 14 treatment rooms, indoor tennis and racquetball courts, and fitness equipment and classes; fees may apply. There are also two outdoor pools and three spa tubs. Dining options include Atwater on Gore Creek, the Fireside Lounge, and 24-hour room service. Aria Spa offers a range of Alpine-influenced treatments (surcharge), including signature Mountain Cures, sports and après-ski massages; specialty baths/soaks. A health club offers racquetball and tennis courts, personal training, and fitness classes including Pilates and yoga; surcharges may apply. The back deck includes an infinity edge pool, spa tub, and three fire features.
A chairlift is also on site (surcharge) and a sports shop provides equipment rentals. Complimentary ski valet service is also available. The Cascade Market and Café serves Starbucks Coffee and stocks snacks and sundries, and après-ski cocktails are served in the Fireside Bar.
Other amenities include a supervised children's program (surcharge), meeting and event space totaling 50,000 square feet, and a business center providing printing, faxing, copying, and high-speed Internet access; fees may apply.
The resort completed a two-year, $30 million renovation at the end of 2008.

Atwater on Gore Creek - Contemporary American cuisine using farm fresh foods and organic produce. Signature menu items include Spicy Marinated Shellfish, Kobe Meatloaf, Colorado Striped Bass, and Apple Buckle with Tart Frozen Yogurt. Two dining areas include a casual tavern with drinks, appetizers, and a full menu and a fine-dining space and outdoor patio. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fireside Lounge - This wood-paneled bar just off the lobby serves appetizers, beer, wine, and cocktails. Other facilities include two outdoor splash pools and spa tubs. The hotel is in Vail’s Cascade Village, and a chairlift is on site (surcharge). Complimentary ski valet service includes storage and overnight boot warming.

Beaver Creek, eight miles west, features 1,625 acres of skiable terrain with 146 trails (34% beginner, 39% intermediate, and 27% expert) accessible by 14 lifts, including seven high-speed quads. The resort has a vertical rise of 3,340 feet and receives an average annual snowfall of 300 inches, plus an annual average of 300 days of sunshine. Beaver Creek includes the resort areas of Arrowhead and Bachelor Gulch and a variety of terrain parks.
