cheap, but effective
there was nothing really wrong with this hotel..it’s just very old and very outdated. It’s definitely a "no frills" hotel, but i was looking for the cheapest hotel in the area, and it worked. For breakfast there is english muffins and waffles, the furniture is old, and the bedding has seen better days, but the stay was pleasant. If you are looking for a cheap way to stay in the Valencia area and just need a place to sleep, this hotel fits the bill

Needs an Exterminator
My room was on an exterior wall and we had an ant problem occur. It wasn’t that big of a deal because I only stayed one night. I would suggest a routine pest control service that concentrates on prevention and spot treatments. our coffee pot and waiste basket were overtaken by ants seaching for water and very small tid bits of crumbs thrown in trash.

Just okay....price is only positive I have on it.
Hotel is worn looking but it was priced well below the others in Newhall, Valencia, Magic Mountain area. We found our room clean but not all the lamps worked, the table teetered and everything just looked very worn. I wouldnt return but I would certainly say that for one night it is okay for budget concscious guest.
