Fantastic place to stay - and relax
Very very nice. Clean, safe, nice continental breakfast. They made me feel special from the time I checked in until I left several days later. They put in me a room with close handicap parking (for which I have a handicap sticker). Because I asked for a quiet room, they did not put anyone on either side of my room at any time. Best motel/hotel experience I have had. I truly was able to relax in my room. without feeling I was in a motel. I chose this model/hotel over the internet sight unseen with no advice - and as a senior woman traveling alone safety was important to me. After reading other reviews and comparing reviews of other motels/hotels, I chose this Comfort Inn - and I am sooo glad I did. I loved it. There was a sofa with coffee table, desk and chair in the room with large TV with lots of channels in an armoire, frig, microwave, and coffee maker, free wifi, great king size bed with wonderful linens and nice deluxe comforter. The bathroom was clean and of nice size with plenty of large fluffy towels and hair dryer. Good location with lots of shopping and restaurants, drug stores, and shopping very close by. I cannot stay enough good things about this motel - I will stay here every time I come to Jacksonville!
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Good for business travelers due to wifi and comfort and size of room with soft, chair and desk. Clean lobby and nice breakfast. Saw no children in the lobby; it was quiet, clean and peaceful so you could actually work on computer, write or dictate in the lobby at break fast. Very relaxing and tastefully decorated.

only problems were
The only problems we had was a dog in the next room barking and someone grilling out on the walkway. The fumes from the charcoal grill were awful and could be smelled inside our room.

Dirty and scarey
I came into town to work over the weekend,,,not really staying long at the room. Which is a good thing,,,carpets so dirty, my socks were black after 15 mintues. Saturday night, a shooting in the parking lot,,no one hurt,,but oh so scarey, for me and my freind, also a woman. I would not stay there again, bad area, dirty carpet, loud road noise.
