Nice hotel

Large spacious suites; very comfortable.

Unless you speak the language, you may have trouble buying an pass for the buses and metro, but that is the way to go.

Outstanding - Much more than a hotel!

This hotel was exactly like it is pictured on their website. Very elegant, the rooms were very large including the huge bathroom with soaking tub. This is by far one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The kitchen was great with everything available you would need. The location on the Buda side is good but in the evening there is very little to offer. I was there in October and when I got off the bus from Pest at night, I was often the only one on the street. Of course it was raining the whole week which kept many people in doors. That being said, there are a few good restaurants nearby (the cafepierrot a few doors down was excellent for fine dining), the bus is very convenient and runs every few minutes witheasy access to the metro. If I ever went back to Budapest I would not even consider another hotel.

Great Location & Huge Rooms

The hotel had a wonderful location. We were able to walk 5 minutes to the church & the bastion. The castle was about 10 minutes walking. There are several bus stations within 5 minutes to bring you down the hill if you dont want to walk. The room was huge - the bathroom alone was bigger than most bedrooms. In addition to the bedroom, there was a very large living room. The concierge was helpful and everyone was always courteous. There is a nice inside courtyard where you can relax. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance. The price was great and we would definitely stay again.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Don’t miss the Buda Labrynth. If you go after 6pm, you’re completely in the dark and you have to navigate with just a small lantern. It’s a freaky experience.
