So-So @ The Comfort Inn
Overall, not bad for the price. I know sofa beds aren’t usually very comfortable, but this one was unbearable. Moved the mattress to the floor. And the hot tub (which is why I chose this over other hotels) was not working.

Great Price and so close to Downtown
If you plan on visiting everyplace in and around SF this is the best bet for the money. Plus you have a great hot breakfast buffet every morning. Easy access from the freeway.

The Comfort Inn was anything but comfortable
When we arrived, our room was dirty. The carpet was stained, was missing fixtures (the capped wires were hanging out), smelled of smoke, missing linens, etc. Disgusted by the sights and smells, we went to the front desk to try and get a different room. The man working behind the counter was rude and insisted that they were fully booked. Considering that we saw several rooms that looked completely empty, we inquiry about those rooms. If they had not arrived yet, why couldn’t they get our room and we get theirs? Long story short, it took us an hour to get one of his staff to take a look at our room to confirm it was indeed dirty and smelled. We were transferred to another room, which was cleaner but had a strong smoke smell. We ended getting coffee from downstairs and leaving around open cups to combat the smell. The area is questionable and located literally across the street from the train. I can’t help but wonder why all the other hotels/motels in the area looked cleaner and nicer than ours. Next time I’d rather pay the extra $20-30/night extra for something more decent.
