Great for singles
This property has all sorts of different room types, but it’s got tiny single rooms that are very budget minded, yet great quality. Perfect for singles - I always have a hard time finding a good rate when I travel alone for pleasure. The only bad thing is that the property is a bit far from the center of Cairns - about a 20 minute walk.

Away from Cairns Center
The "family suite" was a full bed and two single bunk beds in the same small space. We were four adults. Every move in the bed produced a squeak! Mattresses very uncomfortable. Service in the morning (getting a cab to the airport) was very helpful. Service that prior evening service was horrible. Attendeant could not be bothered. When I asked for face cloths and hand towels, reply was we already had four bath towels and that was it. Despite the room information advising that if you wanted these items, all one had to do was ask. Hotel is a mile or so away from the center, and in a city of 143,000, the Center is not that big. Better to stay closer in. All in all. poor service, but room value was alright.
