THE place to stay in Cody
They were very accommodating. Pet-friendly rooms in a nice hotel. This will be the only place I stay in Cody moving forward. It was clean, quiet, and the staff were all professional.
Bubbas BBQ was excellent, and its only a 2 minute drive from The Cody. For fine dining, I recommend The Terrace, also just a stones throw away from the hotel. Their Salmon pesto fettuccine was delicious, almost too rich to finish. The portions were generous, and the service was great. Nice view overlooking the Shoshone. The restaurant is nicely decorated, felt more like an urban setting, so the noise level might bother some, however I appreciate a little slice of city-life on the flanks of Yellowstone National Park.

outstanding
I would call this a 5* hotel in Cody. The hotel was beautiful, clean, friendly and the breakfast was really good, given it was continental. There were fireplaces inside and out and the grounds were lovely. It is a little out of the town, but the town is really small. We were sorry we didnt have more time there.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Dont miss the Buffalo Bill Cody museum. It is the best museum we have seen outside of California and the East coast. Worth an entire day. Also make sure you drive the Chief Joseph highway and of course no need to mention Yellowstone NP is a must.

FYI
This is a very nice upscale hotel, we were treated very well by everyone. However, the room we stayed in had a bed that was very high off the floor. This might be an issue for little people.
