Convenient airport location but dated
The hotel is very near the airport so was a convenient place for us to start and end our trip to Fiji, especially as there are free airport transfers. Few hotels cater for 3 in a room but this was one that did. The main hotel facilities were fine and although a little dated were of a good standard. The only problem my friends and I had with the hotel was the damp, musty smell coming from the corridors and the bedrooms. We paid a reasonable price for the room so all in all it was a good hotel to stay at. When I arrived home there was a postcard from the hotel saying they hoped I had enjoyed my trip, a nice touch I thought. I would give this hotel a 3* rating instead of the 4* it currently has. Other hotels with a 4* rating offered a lot more luxury. Stay here if you want somewhere cheap and convenient.

Make sure you have arranged the free hotel transfer before you arrive. The courtesy bus waits at the hotel not the airport.

Not impressed
I had to find my room and take my bags to it. In the room, appliances were broken (e.g. coffee plunger). At dinner, the quality of the food was poor (e.g. the steak was like rubber)

Not 4 Star
This is listed as 4 star on this site and in several guidebooks. However, we also stayed at a 4 1/2 star hotel in Denarau, and this didn’t come close in quality. I should have known something was amiss, as it was a third of the price of the Denarau resorts. Rooms were noisy, we could hear the neighbors TV all night. Not completely horrible, but should honestly be advertised as a 3 star.
