Beautiful Hotel but NO AC
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished and decorated. BUT it was 95*F and there was NO AC in the rooms. We wanted a non smoking room, and to cool off we needed to open the windows. Well this let in the smoke and noise from the downstairs restaurant and bars. The noise didn’t stop from the nightclub across the street until 4am everyday. I would know to ask for a room at the rear of the hotel. I would definately stay here again.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Great restaurants in the area, easy walking distance to many. It was a 1/2 block to a bus, s-bahn or u-bahn. Get a City Card for all your transportation needs, good deal.

Great Location
It has a great location to the Kurfuerstendamm and its surrounding activities. The hotel was clean and the room was large, a rarity in most of Europe. close to a lot of restaurants, subway and shopping. We’d stay there again, in a minute.

Convenient and Funtional
Hecker’s Hotel has a location that cannot be beat. Right in the heart of Berlin’s West, it is located on a quiet side street, yet only a heartbeat away from the Kudamm. Transport is also very close by. The hotel is quiet, clean and very well-run. That being said, it is also a little sterile, and personal service is a bit distant.
