Single female traveler on business

I traveled alone as a single female to attend a conference at Disneyland Hotel. The location is a quite a walk about 20 minutes to Disneyland Hotel, and about 10min to Disneyland entrance. Never felt unsafe and I usually arrived back to my hotel between 10- 11pm. Not a 5 star hotel, but it is clean. Stayed for 3 nights, the breakfast was ok.

A cab from Orange County Airport is about $40 each way...I used Super Shuttle at a cost of only $10 each way. Highly recommend the Super Shuttle for round trip transportation to and from the airport.

Walk to Disneyland

This was a nice family hotel, but I was there on business and did not care for it. All the rooms have an outside access, so I was a little uncomfortable at night. The hotel was adequate but a little tired. The free continental breakfast was extremely modest by most standards. You can walk to Disneyland and close, decent restaurants and feel relatively safe, even at night.

Great for the price

My families stay was just great. The location was perfect in relation to Disneyland. It was just a short walk about 7minutes. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would recomend asking for a room in the middle of the hotel, because there was a lot of freeway noise. Our room was in the middle and we were just fine. The only complaint that I would have was that the pool was not heated.

Good basic hotel

Clean and basic hotel. Small space for baggage, refrigerator and microwave, close to bathroom. Small bathroom, not proper for big people.

If going to Disneyland, this hotel is close enough to go walking. Forget about Park Hoper, parks are big enough to spend all day at one.

Nothing fancy, but it does the job

If you’re looking for a place that has a comfortable bed, little fridge, and a place within walking distance from Disneyland, this is the place.

Worse stay ever

The hotel was horrible! The covers from the bed were so stiff and hard, they gave me skin burns in my arm and legs; the microwave was not working and for some reason, the hotel lost water from 1pm to 7pm on a saturday. We could NOT shower, we could NOT flush the toilet nor wash out hands. It was terrible! To get a cab from the main desk was asking for a miracle for God himself. The free breakfast is just toast and juice. Enjoy. I asked for the manager to contact me to get a refund because I was extremly unhappy. I never head from them. I traveled back to Chicago, Called again to ask for the manager and I didnt get a response once again. Big suprise.... Very unprofessional... I wish I could get my money back. The hotel spoiled my experience and ruined my time. Oh yeah! The room next to us was very loud and the hotel did nothin about it.

Pretty good hotel

I thougth the hotel was quite nice. The grounds were in good shape. Beds comfy and had a mini fridge. nice for stays longer then couple of days like ours was. My only beef was 2 things, they have a computer set up to use in the main office, but they charge you to use it. We forgot our laptop and thought the price to use it was a little ridiculous. And (mabey because of the time of year) the water was shut off for about 3 hours 2 different days. Not sure if it was just them doing maint, or if it was larger then that. But we were not in the room durrig those times. So not a huge deal for us. At least they gave warning the day before of the times.

It close to Disneyland. About 10 min walk roughly. Saves on cab fares. And about a 20 min walk to the Convention center. many restuarants close by too in walking distance.

Suprisingly nice for an affordable price

I was skeptical at first getting such a cheap hotel with a lower star rating than surrounding hotels. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was very clean and very well kept. The room came with a mini fridge and microwave in addition to the normal amenities. The bathtub/shower was some signs of wear and tear, but was clean. Very close to Disneyland, but its a bit of a walk to the convention center, about 1 to 1.5 miles. But there is plenty of parking nearby. Don’t let the star ratings fool you, this hotel is much nicer than it appears on paper!

Nice hotel, within walking distance to Disneyland

I was very impressed with the hotel in comparison with their Expedia rating...nice surprise. But the extra charges for basic amenities is a little frustrating, this hotel is not the only hotel in this area that does that.

Good value for active travelers

I’ve been stopping over at this property since its days as a "Penny Sleeper." It’s had its ups and downs over the years, and it’s now in fine shape for the travler who wants a place to rest between trips to the area’s attractions or after a day in neighboring L.A. Some rooms are a bit close to the I-5 freeway, and if you’re sensitive to roadway noise, you might want to request a room in the west wings of the property. While the amenities are basic, the rooms are clean and bright, and the mini-fridge is handy for storing refreshments for mid-day respites. The hotel is within walking distance to two full-service restaurants, and not all that far from the main entrance to Disneyland. The continental breakfast offers enough choices to give you a good send-off till lunchtime. There is also ample parking. This hotel is always my first choice when I’m planning to stay in the Anaheim area. The clean atmosphere and helpful staff are as big a plus as the location.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you’re making an early visit to Disneyland, get your breakfast here at the hotel. You’ll spend less time eating here than at any of the local or park restaurants, and the quality of items is very good. Save your money for lunch and dinner.

upset at stay

Hotel was horrible. Room was small and outdated. Water smelled when ran. Guests ran up and down hall. Employees screamed in hall to each other early in morning. Could not sleep comfortably for these reasons as well as A/c wasn’t the best was either freezing or too hot when off. no shuttle was also a huge downside. No where to eat unless walked around the block. no room service.

Some problems, but good value

This is a low-priced hotel within walking distance of DL’s front door. The rooms are very small, but nicely equipped. On my most recent trip the A/C thermostat was broken, and was never fixed, so the A/C was never quite cool enough. Each room has a microwave and mini-fridge. They’ve just added cable TV, giving you about 20 stations. Overall a good value in a great location.

good room, great price

This hotel was hidden away from the main street, which was nice it was close to Disneyland well within walking distance; also close to places to eat such as mimis cafe, mcdonalds,Quizino’s and a few other places. The hotel itself was cute a little bit small, but cute. We stayed in the newly remodeled rooms and they were nice but the rooms were also VERY small. The free breakfast the next day was really good and a relief from the free "continental" danish breakfast, there was a choice of english muffins and/or toast, cereal, of course the fore mentioned danishes,muffins and the best part was the make your own waffle bar outside! the orange juice is also very good ! Overall a nice little place I would stay there again, next time we go to Disneyland!

Sleeping on the I5

This hotel is clean, has OK service and breakfast and close to Disney, However it is extremely noisy. This place is updated recently except doors and windows. Doors and windows have no sound isolation. I felt I was sleeping on the highway. It is very noisy hotel. I could not sleep at all.

New Bathroom

This hotel really needs to consider updating their bathrooms. The spout where the water comes out is barely hanging on. It would have been nice to of had a thermostat type of air conditioner as well rather than a swamp cooler. It is either really warm in the room, or freezing.

This place is good for the price. A great place to stay and close to disneyland. It was a little small for my family. The continental breakfast was great and saved us money on breakfast.

Good on a Budget

I really have no complaints about this hotel, we were only there to sleep pretty much since we spent all our time in Disneyland. The walk to Disneyland is only about 10 minutes and it is an easy walk. The only issue in our room was our shower head, the pressure coming out was very low we had to keep turning the water on and off until more pressure would come through. The free breakfast was good enough we had waffles one morning but the line gets so long and it takes a while to make them, so we stuck with english muffins and juice. I would stay again, it’s the right price.

Good clean, quiet hotel!!!

Nice Hotel, it’s located from a walking distance from Disneyland. Very clean. I just wanted a room were I could get a good night sleep, and I did. You can take there something to eat, because you have a microwave oven and a little fridge on your room, just what I needed. Don’t expect too much in the breakfast included, but it helps you to hang in there until you get something to eat later in the morning. The room is for two guests, but I think that three can get along. I will go back if I’m in the area.

It’s a walking distance to Disneyland, and there are many restaurants around there. You have everything you need around there.

Good room, great price

Whenever we visit Disneyland, we always stay here. It’s walking distance (as long as you don’t have a toddler walking), clean, and the staff has always been polite. The rooms are small, but why on earth would you want to do anything but sleep and shower there, with all of the Disneyland resort at your fingertips? The breakfast is nothing special, but if you’re willing to wait in line for it you can make your own hot waffles for free. Well worth the price. Never found bugs or mold, leaks or anything else of that nature. This is our go-to hotel at a great price right near Disneyland.

Great Trip

We were able to get a room for a great price two hours before we arrived in L.A. Check in was quick and easy. My wife and I had a great time.
