Not what I was hoping for
I chose this place because of the reviews on the indoor swimming pool. When I booked it and when I checked in, there was absolutely no mention of the pool being closed for repairs. When you tell a little boy that he gets to swim in November in Kansas, they get pretty excited. We go down to the pool only to find it locked. I just wish I would have been told when booking or checking in. The staff was super nice and the breakfast area was very nice. In all, it was a nice place but I was just disappointed about the pool.

A Great Stay!
This was one of my most memorable trips back to Kansas even though I was only there for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly , clean rooms, great service, and the king size bed was very comfortable. Private access door to the hall near my room was perfect so I didn’t have to walk through the lobby every time I came and left. Location was convenient to nearby shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The memorable part was not only the pleasant welcome from the staff & front desk but also from someone special that was meeting me there and the staff was kind and courteous enough to let her check me in early and allowed her to have access to the room with my permission so she could give me a warm welcome when I arrived late. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a good nights rest or just a warm welcome! Thanks La Quinta!
Take a long walk along the river and in the parks downtown, visit the Indian Center and take in the feel of the true midwest and peacefulness. It always brings a wonderful calm to the soul.
