When Francesco and Monia Micci first saw the farm and old abandoned farmhouse in 1999, they were struck not only by the beautiful location overlooking a charming part of Lake Trasimeno , but also by the fascination and energy of the place which combined the austereness of stone structures with the plasticity of a pristine natural environment in a harmony of colors, scents and sounds. This profound contact with the place and the choice of a lifestyle based on nature, tradition and spirituality give birth to the plan of purchasing the farm in order to create an accommodation structure that would be a place for gathering and well-being. With their previous experience as experts on local development and tourism, Francesco and Monia Micci sought to combine their professional and personal experience with the strength of the place to establish a place of sojourn characterized by the connection between man and the elements of the universe.
