Housekeeping could be more thorough in cleaning/vacuuming room.
Continential breakfast needs more fruit, FRESH juices, and a little more variety; i.e., grits.

Gone Way Downhill
Stayed here four years ago and it wasn’t bad. Now, it was run down and rather seedy. The price was a bargain and there was free internet, however, there was a strong funky floral odor when we returned after the room was made up which made it hard to breathe, the room needed serious upgrading, and the bed sheets needed replaced. While in town, I saw many other more appropriate choices of places to stay, and will make a better choice if I need to stay in JC.

Not bad for the price
All was well that ended well...and not the fault of the motel. Expedia booked a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room(the manager said this happens too often). The problem was there was a bikers convention in town the last part of the week and we were going to have to move from a non-smoking room that had come available to a smoker(not cool). Fortunately it all worked out but that was a little frustrating until it was resolved.
