Great location, great charm, small rooms
Stay at this hotel for the location, charm, and service, but expect a very small room/bathroom by U.S. standards. Still, the other attributes outweighed that for me, enough that this was my second stay at this hotel even knowing the rooms were tiny.

Fantastic hotel and location
This was our first visit to Stockholm, and we spent many hours researching hotels. The Victory was perfect in every way. From friendly and helpful staff, perfect location in the heart of Gamla Stan, to the very large and well equipped rooms, I would definately recommend this hotel. We have traveled to other countries in Europe, and rarely do we find this kind of hotel experience.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Don;t let the map fool you, as Stockholm is an easy walk from the hotel. Spend time walking, shopping, eating, take a water cruise, enjoy a glass of wine on the river front. Just wish we had more time there!

cute boutique hotel
Rooms are small, full of maritime antiques, but clean new bathroom. If you like boutique hotels with a lot of character you will like this place.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Because you are in Old Town, you are within walking distance of many of the attractions that you want to go to. Two streets up is where the best shopping street that extends right across the bridge into more shopping.

This hit the spot
I was at the hotel for three days and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was very helpful, patient, and accommodating, the place was kept clean (although a little bit dark on the inside), and it was generally very cozy. Its also in a very nice location for getting to different parts of town, and it is worth a little exploring in the immediate neighborhood itself. The signature feature of the hotel is the nautical decorations. Its named after the HMS Victory, and each of the rooms is named after a sea captain. It almost feels like youre in some kind of Swedish naval museum, but in a good way! The restaurant is a little on the expensive side, but I heard very good things about it, and from people not associated with the hotel. Another neat feature of the hotel: several notable archaeological finds were made there, including the largest discovery of buried silver in the history of Sweden! Its true! In sum, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stockholm for a few days. Im pretty confident that it will be a memorable experience, and a good one.
