Big disappointment!
The apartment was a big disappointment, the bathroom door did not close, window shades did work and the electrical outlets would trip. But most of all it was not clean, filthy walls and rough linen. When we complaint to the front desk, they try to intimidate us into believing if they send a repair person to fix a item we will have to pay extra for the trouble call. Never Again! Please Stay Away!

So-so
Since we booked this through Expedia and it is an apartment, we did not get clear instructions for how to check in. We got to the address given and found no one available. After going to the hotel across the street and calling the number for reservations, we found that we had to pick up a key across town at their sister hotel. This was very inconvenient. The location was great, though. A very quiet neighborhood within walking distance from metro stations and Olympic Village. There was a grocery around the corner. There was a coffeemaker, but no pot. We ended up making coffee in a stove top coffeemaker. Also, no air conditioning, but it stayed fairly cool with fans and windows open. It was a good way to get the "real" Barcelona experience. For the price, it was a good deal, but I would not stay here again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Walk to Olympic Village and take the double-decker sightseeing bus on its 3 routes. It is a great way to get around and see the city with hop-on, hop-off.
