no outside food
The Regency Hotel was amazing. It was a really nice hotel. The comfort level was great, if a little too ritzy for backpackers. The only complaint was that once in the room, we read that no outside food or alcohol was allowed in the room. For backpackers, this presented a problem because the lounge and nearby diner weren’t cheap. Otherwise, this hotel is a great place. Good family place.

Very Simple
Hotel was simple and clean. Nothing flashy or great about it, but nothing bad either. A good "budget" hotel.

We look forward to our stay next year!
This is a beautiful hotel with a world class swimming spa. We stayed in the older portion of the hotel for 10 days and was completely satified, however, for a small fee the hotel will upgrade your room to a luxury guest room. The maids were thorough each day and the front staff, especially Nichola, was a joy in which to gain advice such as bus routes or points of interest. Close to the bus routes each way. Can’t say enough about the pleasure of our stay in this hotel.
