Not a desireable enviornment
Low end bedding. General area not as clean as it should be.

Decent Downtown Minneapolis Stay
Best Western Normandy Inn & Suites is conveniently located downtown Minneapolis within a reasonable walking distance of venues like the Target Center. There’s plenty of good eating places around and lots of shopping available. The hotel parking layout is a little weird, but convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as good as any place I’ve stayed. Staff was helpful.
Traveler's tip
Be sure to get your free milk and cookies by 10:30pm, or they’ll be gone. They only offer this from 10pm-10:30pm, so if you’re out late, such as at a show, you might miss your night snack. Oh, and when you arrive, come down 9th St. If you go down 8th St, which is the hotel’s address, you won’t see it. The parking entrance is off of 9th.

Great Hotel for the money
The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, was not happy about the gym, one treadmill did not work and the tv’s would not work when using the treadmill, the selection was small and could use an upgrade on a couple pieces. The resturant on site had very good breadkfast and overall we were quite pleased.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Gameworks is always a great place to try for the kid at heart and the Metrodome is within walking distance. Leave your car during the game and have a quick way out of the city.
