Nice place
We came to St. Augustine for 2 days, my 2 sons and I for a mini vacation. With limited funds, this hotel was reasonable and nice enough. The rooms were clean as was the pool. My youngest said the bed was not comfy, but I found it to be fine, although the pillows are kind of hard. Also the towels are a bit stiff. Not much for breakfast, just coffee, oj and packaged pastries. The owners were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in one hour early. I would recommend this hotel. Good value.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Check for coupons before heading for the attractions, we could have saved $6 on Ripley’s had we grabbed brochures from the hotel first.

Couldn’t be nicer
We have traveled extensively both on business and pleasure for many years. We have NEVER met a nicer more helpful and genuinely caring owner/operators, Suresh & Jigisha Patel. The location is great. The trolleys come right to the motel,several excellent reasonable restaurants in immediate area. We have stayed in St. Augustine seven times and they all were good but this was by far the best.

I do not recommend this hotel at all.
This hotel is very sheap in every aspect. The towels were rough and very old, they do not supply the bath with enough paper or soap. Not really close to downtown and the breakfast was just coffee and orange juice with some cold muffin. In addition the room keeper throught away something that cost my brother’s fiance more than $500, so this says a lot about the Travelodge and they employees.
